This week began the avalanche, or dare we say "whiteout" of sweet little kids, with a lot more to come. It has been hard work since the weather is too chilly to be born outside and there isn't room for everyone in the barn at once. This means lots of checking the does and warming the new ones. Looks like there will be at least one more week of challenging conditions, then hopefully warm, dry spring weather.
Once all these babies are established, we will start a milk sharing program, where our family drinks part of the milk and the babies get the rest. That way we get healthy kids all around!
